Holy Cow Privacy Policy

Last updated: September 4, 2026

The short version: Holy Cow keeps your game stats on your device, has no accounts and no analytics, and shows non-personalized ads only. The ads are the only part of the app that talks to the internet.

What the app stores, and where

Your win/loss tally, streak, sound and settings preferences are stored locally on your device. They are included in your normal device backups (iCloud or computer backups managed by Apple), which I have no access to. There is no account, no sign-in, and no server of mine anywhere.

Advertising

Holy Cow is free and shows ads through Google AdMob. Every ad request the app sends is explicitly marked as non-personalized: ads are selected based on general context, not on a profile of you, and the app never asks for cross-app tracking permission.

To deliver an ad, Google technically receives standard request data such as your IP address and basic device information, and may use it for fraud prevention and frequency capping. Details are described in Google's privacy policy and in how Google uses information from ads.

In the European Economic Area and the UK, the app shows a consent dialog (Google's certified consent management platform) on first launch. Whatever you choose there, the app still requests non-personalized ads only. You can change your choice at any time by deleting and reinstalling the app.

What the app does not do

No analytics, no tracking SDKs, no crash-reporting SDKs, no social logins, no contact access, no location access. The Google AdMob SDK is the only third-party component in the app.

Children

Holy Cow is a family-friendly game for a general audience. Because all ads are non-personalized for every player, no advertising profile is built about anyone, including children.

Changes

If a future version of the app ever changes any of the above, this policy will be updated before that version ships, with the date at the top reflecting the change.
